Variable Price is an add-on for the Payment Button for PayPal WordPress plugin (also known as WP PayPal or WordPress PayPal) that can be used to add a custom price field to your PayPal checkout buttons. This lets buyers set the amount they will pay for your products.
How to Enable Variable Price
Open the product in question (WP PayPal > Products > Edit) and Enable Variable Pricing in it.
When the button for this product is rendered on the front end (using wp_paypal_product shortcode), a price input field will appear with it.
The default label for the price input field can be customized in the add-on settings (WP PayPal > Variable Price).
Requirements
- Payment Button for PayPal Plugin version 1.2.3.47 or higher
- Buttons created using the “wp_paypal_product” shortcode.
